Quality Control Associate
A Quality Control Support Specialist is responsible for performing user interface testing on consumer-facing websites and proprietary web applications, identifying and documenting defects for review and resolution. This role helps ensure the quality of all deliverables, supports continuous improvement efforts, and contributes to overall company performance and client satisfaction.
Here’s more of what you’ll get to do:
Handling large, site-sized quality control tasks with exceptional detail taking several hours to complete
Handling smaller quality control tasks ranging in size from five minutes to twenty minutes to complete
Managing a daily queue of work and be flexible to handle requests as they occur
Test websites and platform projects by following written and verbal test procedures.
Analyze and report visual and functional deficiencies.
Evaluate accuracy of content and security protocols.
Create and maintain documentation, processes, and procedures.
Troubleshooting quality issues
Recommend process improvements.
Liaise with the different departments in production.
Additional duties assigned from time to time.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field
Basic knowledge in HTML/CSS
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
Working knowledge of web services
Quality Control experience is a plus.
Excellent command of the English language with exceptional writing, communication, and multi-tasking skills
Ability to adapt to changing business needs.
High attention to detail and ability to follow specific directions.
Ability to maintain the integrity of customer websites.
Type at least 40 WPM
Excellent time management & Problem Solving/Analysis
Strong work ethic and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting or work independently when needed
Project management experience and ability to take ownership of daily projects needs and provide progress updates
